Fried cabbage

A step by step southern recipe for fried cabbage. Reduced complexity , ready in 40 minutes.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg ( 1 pound ) of cabbage
• 1 onion
• olive oil
• salt and pepper
• caraway
• paprika
• sugar
• vinegar

Step 1:
Finely chop the onion and fry it in a little olive oil. Meanwhile , cut the cabbage as this as you can. Put it over the onion and mix from time to time , fry the cabbage until it gets tender.

Step 2:
Season with salt and pepper, put a teaspoon of ground thyme and when it is almost done add a teaspoon of sugar and let it caramelize.

Step 3:
Finally add paprika and a teaspoon of vinegar for a little sour.
